My Story

Max The One Man Band is a Inspirational Gospel singer and a native of Miami, Florida. Born October 1963 where he resided in Coconut Grove, in the city of Miami Florida. At a young age he moved north where he is residing currently in Miami Gardens, Florida. His music career began in the seventies, while singing in the Church Choir and playing the family piano with his sisters and brothers, at home where his passion for music was encouraged and cultivated by his mother and father. In pursuit of their musical ambitions, Kenneth and his older brother collaboratively went on to become proficiently skilled in multiple instruments. His brother on Bass Guitar, Lead and Acoustic Guitar with Kenneth on the piano and Lead vocals.

While practicing for his six grade graduation talent showcase, he recalls his favorite teacher hearing him sing a ballad, it moved her to tears and she professed that the song and his singing made her reflect on her daughter who had passed on. This was a pivotal moment for him because he realized that music could not only be used to bring joy to him but to others as well.

Kenneth went on to become the head Drum Major in his high school band where he continued to expand his musicality by learning additional instruments, such as the trumpet, tuba, sousaphone, acoustic guitar and bass guitar. During the time that his passion for music continued to grow, he joined various singing groups and bands. As his knowledge of the music industry grew he began to write and produce music in the 1980s. He covered such songs as Forever By Your Side, and had additionally written and composed The Lady Of My Life, Slow Burn, Secrete Love Affair, I Don't Wanna Be Alone and more.
